We were present at Glasstec 2006; "International Glass, Glass Work, Glass Production Machines and Products Fair" in Düsseldorf, Germany from 24th to 28th of October 2006
We were in Hall 09 / Stand 9E44
In our stand, we have met with visitors from 43 different countries during the exhibition. It was a very enjoyable opportunity to discuss with highly interested potential customers.

Değirmendere Ali ÖZBAY Vocational College with its brand new technological infrastructure provided by founder of our Company Feridun F. OZBAY is ready for its first academic year starting on 11th of September 2006.
All machinery and equipments of a protocol signed by our Company, Rectorate of Kocaeli University and Degirmendere Municipality are delivered to our college.

| August 2006 / One of the Largest Kilns for Glass Fusing in the World ! |

One of the largest kilns for glass fusing ever made till now has been constructed with 9 m² base area in our premises. The kiln has two cars programmable for night firing and fast cooling can also be applied in that firing program.
The kiln is going to be delivered in October, 2006 to a very reputable company in Dubai designing inner decorations for Burj Al Arab.

| April 2006 / A New Glory Hole for The Glass Furnace |

Eddie Bernard the owner of Wet Dog Glass,U.S.A. was our guest in our workshop during last week. We have combined our own experince to make a new a glory hole which is very quiet, heats up quickly and consumes much less gas. As a supplementary equipment, a pipe warmer was also additionaly manufactured.
The new glory hole & pipe warmer were tested and delivered to The Glass Furnace, an international glass center in Turkey.

We have got the EU Bidding and delivered a kiln for glass fusing to "HÄME POLYTECHNIC" in Finland.
The kiln can be operated and monitored by a computer connection.

We were present in VITRUM 2005; 14th "International Trade Show Specialised in Machinery, Equipment and Systems for Flat, Bent and Hollow Glass and in Glass and Processed Products for Industry" in Milan, Italy from 5th to 8th of October 2005.
We were in Hall 15 II /Stand A 22
Our products were also presented in TK Kilns stand. Collaboration alternatives between TK Kilns and our company were discussed during the fair.

As a result of our cooperation with Haidar Trading Company and current trade strategy between Syria and Turkey, we have delivered glass firing unit which involves a kiln for glass fusing with car of 5 m², a kiln for glass fusing with 2 m² base and a test kiln with 0.5 m² base to Syria.

We have participated to the "GAS@Ausglass; Matters of Substance" 35th Annual GAS Conference in Adelaide, Australia from 7th to 9th of May 2005.

It was a good experience for our company to be able to meet world wide known Glass artists from all over the world in another continent.
Within the scope of industry/university cooperation program of our company, Ms. Gülgün Elitez, Asistant in Ceramics and Glass Department, Faculty of Fine Art, Mimar Sinan Fine Art University participated to the conference as our guest.

We proudly announce that, founder of our company, Feridun F. Ozbay, and Rector of Kocaeli University, Baki Komsuoglu Prof. Dr. have signed the protocol for the establishment of Değirmendere Ali ÖZBAY Vocational College.
It is a clear sign of our care and deepest consideration on education. According to the protocol, all machinery and equipment of the college will be provided by our company including furnishing needs of ceramics and glass department.
Preliminary protocol had signed with Degirmendere Municipality last year and college's campus area provided by them. That's why this protocol is a new step for building the college. In order to be able to accelerate civil works, Dr. Arch. Elif Ozbay began architectural concept design.
